CSR
- CSR Commitment
We set practical and achievable quality objectives to guide our continuous improvement efforts. These objectives are regularly reviewed to ensure that the concept of "continuous improvement" is integrated into our daily operations. With environmental protection as a core value, we emphasize the importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR), taking into account the well-being of the planet and actively supporting all aspects of environmental preservation.
We adhere to CUC’s Environmental Management Policy and have established an ISO 14001-based Environmental Management System. Department heads lead their respective teams in full participation, promoting environmental initiatives and enhancing awareness of social responsibility throughout the company.
We comply with all environmental laws and regulations, and we are committed to the ongoing maintenance and improvement of our environmental performance. All major pollution sources have obtained the legally required permits for installation and operation. Emission volumes are reported in accordance with regulations, and monitoring data consistently meets legal standards. Dedicated personnel oversee environmental compliance, and all pollution control operators hold certified licenses. - Green products
In line with our commitment to environmental sustainability and in response to global environmental trends and customer demand for eco-friendly packaging, we have incorporated green design principles into our manufacturing processes. By carefully selecting raw materials and designing products for easy disassembly, we aim to reduce environmental impact while maintaining product performance and quality.
To comply with substance restriction regulations, such as the exclusion of RoHS-restricted substances and REACH-regulated chemicals, we require our raw material suppliers to provide third-party test reports verifying regulatory compliance. In addition, for other environmental concerns — including radioactive elements in metals or harmful substances in composite wood materials — we request either supporting test reports or clear declarations in Certificates of Analysis (COA). - Water Resources Management
CUC’s water sources are groundwater and municipal tap water. Groundwater is filtered and softened before being used in chemical production, steam generation, equipment cleaning, and sanitary facilities within the plant. Currently, there is no recycling system for used water in place.
To reduce water consumption and minimize our environmental impact, we have implemented a strategy to standardize both products and production equipment. Frequently manufactured products are assigned to designated reactors or tanks, reducing the need for frequent cleaning and thereby conserving water. Where possible, cleaning operations across different production lines are scheduled simultaneously to allow shared use of cleaning cycles, further reducing overall water usage.
Municipal water is primarily used in offices and laboratories, with a small portion allocated for production processes. - Air Pollution Emissions Control
The air emissions of CUC include pollutants generated from the combustion of low-sulfur fuel oil in on-site steam and thermal oil boilers, as well as volatile organic compounds (VOCs) released during production processes. In addition to strict compliance with regulatory operating standards, we have implemented multiple air pollution control measures to further reduce emissions.
Control equipment includes condensers, wet scrubbers, and baghouse dust collectors, which are used to effectively treat exhaust gases. To minimize VOC emissions during manufacturing, all production operations are conducted in fully enclosed systems, significantly reducing the risk of fugitive emissions. - Wastewater Emission Control
CUC operate an on-site wastewater treatment facility that is fully licensed for operation and discharge in accordance with regulatory requirements. Regular monitoring and reporting are conducted as mandated by law, and all discharge data consistently meet legal standards. A dedicated wastewater management specialist is assigned to oversee compliance and operations.
The primary source of wastewater is from the cleaning of production tanks and equipment, with minimal contributions from laboratory and kitchen water usage. - Waste Management
In alignment with ISO 14001 environmental standards, we actively promote waste reduction, recycling, and reuse. This includes the categorized recycling of materials such as metals, paper, plastics, electronic equipment, steel drums, and wooden pallets, as well as the minimization of general domestic waste. Our goal is to increase the recovery rate of renewable resources year by year.
Waste collection and recycling are carried out by certified in-house personnel in cooperation with government-approved waste disposal contractors. All disposal and recycling activities are documented with triplicate manifests and reported to the relevant authorities to prevent illegal dumping.
Driven by the principles of green production, our current processes continuously implement waste reduction and resource recovery programs. Special emphasis is placed on improving raw material usage and managing production waste to minimize environmental impact and promote the transformation of waste into valuable resources. - Social Responsibility & Management
In response to the rapid evolution of global markets, CUC not only focuses on developing innovative technologies and energy-efficient production, but also places great importance on corporate social responsibility. Ensuring a safe working environment and protecting employee rights and benefits are core elements of our management philosophy.
We actively recruit local talent to support work-life balance and community engagement. All employee management practices comply with relevant labor laws, and we strictly prohibit the employment of child labor and any form of forced labor. The company also enforces a zero-tolerance policy against corporal punishment, psychological abuse, and verbal threats in the workplace.
Attendance and overtime policies fully comply with local labor standards. Our working environment meets noise control regulations set by the Environmental Protection Administration and follows all safety, labeling, and operational standards as required by labor inspection authorities.
To enhance the knowledge, skills, and overall capabilities of our workforce, we provide continuous education and training tailored to job requirements. In addition to routine internal training, we invite certified instructors from professional consulting firms to conduct specialized courses, ensuring that our workforce meets the professional standards required for effective organizational performance.
